Sr. Programmer - Cobol and AS 400 "IBM I"

Title: Sr. Programmer Cobol & AS 400 IBM I Location: Concord, NH Remote (need to be able to come onsite 1 time per month) Duration: 12 months + Job Description: We are looking for Sr. Programmer with at least 7+ years of IT experience. This resource must have strong IBM i (formerly AS/400) and Cobol programming experience. Top Desired Skills: 5 Years Development and support of COBOL applications on IBM i (AS/400) 5 Years Strong experience with CL, DDS, and DB2 for i (SQL) 5 Years Experience working with IBM i tools such as Access Client Solutions (ACS) and Navigator for i 5 Years Experience with batch processing and job scheduling Ability to work alternative schedules. i.e. non-business hours for planned maintenance, upgrades, urgent troubleshooting, and/or migration activities Experience with Hyland's OnBase WorkView platform Exceptional communication skills * This position functions as a primary technical authority responsible for sustaining and supporting a mature IBM i (formerly AS/400) environment and its COBOL-based business applications.
