Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager oversees all aspects of complex construction projects from initiation through final completion. Duties & Responsibilities Supervise multiple projects through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction Develop and adjust project work plans based on evolving scope and schedule needs Identify and allocate resources and assign responsibilities across project teams Manage day-to-day project operations and scope execution Lead estimating and pricing activities, including change order pricing and cost development Review and approve team deliverables before presentation to clients Enforce project methodology, standards, and quality procedures Maintain complete, current, and properly stored project documentation Create cost-effective schedules and resourcing plans Select, manage, and coordinate subcontractors across all phases Oversee trade contractor performance and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and regulations Manage permits, licenses, and administration of construction contracts Supervise Project Engineers, address issues, and enforce safety protocols Identify potential disputes or claims related to design or construction Monitor schedule adherence, profitability forecasts, and progress; hold regular status meetings Perform project accounting functions including budget oversight, expense tracking, and risk mitigation Maintain strict compliance with budget, quality, and safety standards Provide regular updates to owners and architects, including required plan adjustments Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science Minimum 5 years supporting or managing complex construction projects Proven ability to perform under pressure and coordinate multiple contributors toward shared objectives Experience producing accurate estimates and pricing deliverables Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work on-site or in office — this is not a remote role Ability to navigate active construction environments, climb ladders or temporary stairs, move across uneven terrain, and perform routine jobsite inspections for safety and quality Ability to work in environments with noise, vibration, mechanical movement, airborne particles, outdoor weather exposure, and varying field conditions Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance with choice of PPO or HSA-eligible plan with employer HSA contribution Company-paid Short- & Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and AD&D Flexible Spending Accounts (healthcare and dependent care) Untracked / unmeasured vacation Sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (up to 80-hour carryover) 9 paid holidays annually Paid parental leave Annual discretionary bonus based on company performance and manager assessment 401(k) with immediate vesting and employer match of up to 4% of compensation; Traditional and Roth options available Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 100% company funded, eligibility after 1 year / 1,000 hours Company vehicle or allowance, toll pass, and fuel card Employment Type: Full time Location: Los Angeles, CA
