We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to help us scale to the next level. Position Overview We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the SalesDraft engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable, high-performing applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, Postgres, AI/ML, and AWS. You will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the SalesDraft platform, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience for our customers. What You’ll Do Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express. Build responsive, user-friendly frontend components with React and TypeScript. Design and implement scalable database schemas and queries in Postgres. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Leverage AWS services to build, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions. Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning to improve the codebase and architecture. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the SalesDraft product. Requirements: Strong proficiency in Node.js, React, and TypeScript. Solid understanding of Postgres, including schema design and query optimization. A commitment to learning to use and implement AI. Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation. Additional Skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git). Understanding of secure coding practices and application performance tuning. Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
