ABOUT THE ROLE Facility Optimization Solutions (FOS), a subsidiary of CannonDesign, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our FOS products team. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable SaaS solutions. You will contribute significantly to technical architecture, ensuring our engineering practices meet high standards and align with the overall enterprise strategy. This role requires both people leadership and a strong individual contributor mindset with a passion for technical excellence, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and other engineering functions, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality products that delight our internal and external clients. As part of the recruitment process, selected candidates will be required to complete online skills assessments through Karat, including a 15-minute assessment measuring proficiency in Algorithms, Data Structures, and Back-end, and a one-hour technically based interview. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, robust, and secure application architecture under the guidance of the Director of Software Engineering. Lead a team of developers through the full software development lifecycle - from design and development to deployment and ongoing support of SaaS products. Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering within your team, focusing on DevOps competencies (CI/CD), monitoring and observability, performance, and automated testing. </
