Senior Supplier Quality Engineer Employment Type: Full Time Travel: Up to 35% About the Role Drive supplier quality and product reliability across the supply chain. Lead supplier investigations, audits, and improvement programs; support product launches and cross‑functional teams to resolve high‑impact quality and warranty issues. What You Will Do Lead supplier corrective actions and verify root cause and effectiveness. Drive issue resolution for high‑impact product quality and warranty concerns using 8D and similar methodologies. Oversee APQP and PPAP deliverables for new products and design/process changes. Plan and conduct supplier audits and process reviews. Develop supplier improvement programs and sustain corrective actions. Support new product launches and VAVE projects with cross‑functional teams. Provide onsite support at supplier and customer locations for development and issue resolution. Support plant quality teams during launches and production issue resolution. What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field. Experience: 3+ years in Quality Engineering within manufacturing; project management experience. Quality Systems: Hands‑on with AIAG APQP and core tools, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and internal QMS auditing. Problem Solving: Proficient with 8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone; able to lead investigations. Technical Breadth: Experience in Metal Mechanical, Plastics, or Electrical Software. Skills: GD&T reading, basic metrology, tolerance stack‑up understanding, Microsoft Office proficiency. Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Six Sigma certification.
