Staff Auditor

Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Staff Auditor to join our team.In this role, you will primarily work directly with clients in various industries in Southeast Ohio and West Virginia, providing assurance services to those clients.At BHM, you will gain valuable experience beyond traditional audits by contributing to compliance efforts and trusted advisory services.Enjoy flexible working hours and remote work options while developing your expertise in a high growth firm.Duties Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance and consulting services in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.Engage proactively with clients throughout the year to gather necessary information, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up.Perform substantive and compliance testing in accordance with audit plans.Identify and test for deficiencies in internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.Learn and grow through direct, hands-on coaching and mentoring from experienced professionals.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business with a minimum of 120 credit hours.Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.Strong skills in communication, relationship building, collaboration, problem-solving, initiative, and adaptability.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
