Role Description We are seeking a full-time on-site Staff Development Coordinator for our facility in Reno, NV. The Staff Development Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs to ensure our team is equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional patient care. Daily tasks include developing and conducting training sessions, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and evaluating staff performance to identify areas for improvement. This role will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create a culture of learning and foster professional development among staff. Qualifications Strong knowledge of educational programs, staff training, and compliance standards Excellent organization, communication, and leadership abilities Proficient in developing training materials and conducting presentations Experience with state and federal regulations related to healthcare and staff development A background in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or rehabilitation services is highly preferred Active RN license in the state of Nevada is required Proficient in evaluating employee performance and providing constructive feedback Ability to collaborate and mentor staff to foster professional growth At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or staff development role
