The Opportunity: Focus: A Staff Software Engineer takes the responsibilities of a Lead Software Engineer and successfully applies them to a larger, or deeper, blast radius, positively impacting the capabilities of several teams, leading large-scale projects and driving technical direction across teams. As a Staff Software Engineer, the work effort may include a higher ratio of strategic efforts rather than tactical, looking beyond the next couple of months to ensure we are tracking towards a one-year architecture direction. They act as technical experts, guiding teams through delivery, architectural decisions, and providing mentorship. Staff Software Engineers are role models for other engineers, demonstrating professional technical leadership behaviors in all their interactions. Has the ability to act as the ground-floor leader driving projects and products forward coordinating across design, engineering and product. Design and implement developer experience solutions, internal platforms, and shared tooling Own and improve the end to end SDCL. Identity developer friction and deliver scalable, automated solutions Standardize CI/CD pipelines, development environments, and engineering workflows. Embed security, reliability, and quality practices into the SDLC. Lead architecture and technical strategy for shared systems. Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams. Define and track metrics for developer productivity and delivery performance. Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on NodeJS, React, C# .NET Strong hands- on experience with CI/CD, build systems, and deployment automation Deep understanding of SDLC best practices including tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins. Familiarity with Azure services, such as App Service, Functions, Storage, and SQL Database. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
