Job Overview The Staff Physician-OBGYN provides Obstetrics and Gynecology medical care to the patients of AltaMed. The Physician delivers care and services aligned with AltaMed's Team-Based Care Model, focused on population health, evidence-based medicine, appropriate resource use, and integrated delivery of care. The Physician leverages AltaMed's Team-Based Care Model to ensure all members of the clinic team are practicing at the highest scope of practice. The Physician participates as an active, engaged member of the AltaMed Provider group, including sharing responsibilities in the care of patients, cross-coverage, peer review, provider meetings, CME, and advancing AltaMed as a provider-led organization. The Physician is responsible for a clinic panel (empaneled against the clinic), including health outcomes, patient experience, and overall patient care (both internal and external). The Physician reports to the Site Medical Director with strong collaboration and oversight by the head of Women's Health and the Regional Medical Director. Minimum Requirements Requirements include experience and training as a physician, having completed a US-accredited medical school degree, and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology or its equivalent.
