The role collaborates with interdisciplinary staff and supports service planning and decision‑making to promote timely, high‑quality psychological services. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION Doctoral degree (Ph.D./Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA-accredited university. Licensed by the California Board of Psychology (BOP) as a Psychologist. EXPERIENCE Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a clinic, hospital, or public agency. A significant portion of this time should have been spent in the evaluation and/or treatment of people with developmental disabilities. Must have experience in functioning as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. OTHER Ability to interpret and complete psychological/developmental evaluations with children and across the lifespan; communicate effectively with co-workers, parents and clients verbally and in writing; relate well to representatives of the community and associated agencies; work effectively in an interdisciplinary framework. Must be familiar with a wide variety of psychological tests. Required to have a specialized knowledge of developmental psychology, tests and measurement as well as psychological procedures with a focus on Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. Understanding of DDS policies, and regulations preferred.
