Job Description
Ridgeway Rehab Center is committed to providing excellence in the care and services to those we serve. We are seeking individuals to provide scheduling services who are positive, caring and dedicated. This position is a full-time, day shift position with flexible hours and possible weekend requirments. Full-time employees are eligible for company benefits after a probationary period. Multi-Facilty Position Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ensure proper staffing for transportation, collaborating with nursing leadership. Schedule and coordinate nursing and nursing aide staff as needed throughout the facility. Monitor facility staffing ratios, Hours Per Patient Day (HPPD), and staffing trends. Ensure staffing compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining accurate reports. Secure coverage for vacant shifts, open positions, vacations, and staff call-offs. Maintain the master schedule and log of all clinical staff worked hours. Assist payroll in verifying and ensuring the accuracy of worked hours for nursing staff. Record employee attendance and communicate any concerns to DON, ADON, and HR. Respond promptly to supervisor’s requests for staff coverage daily. Support the Administrator and department heads in daily facility operations. Maintain infection control standards and follow established safety protocols. Ensure the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents in all interactions. Assist and support leadership in facility recruitment and retention. On call required. Other duties as assigned. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Evening and weekend work as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Experience & Skills Required: At minimum a GNA or CMA certification Knowledge of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Valid driver's license Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, enthusiastic, and self-motivated positive attitude Ability to take initiative and work independently Flexibility to handle on-call duties as needed 2 Years Experience Preferred but not required Benefits 401K Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Coverage ...and so much more
