Overview We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team.As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages.You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and handling.Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, reporting any shortages to management.Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.Qualifications Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred but not required.Familiarity with retail math, basic math skills, and cash register operations is beneficial.Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices.Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.Join our team as a barista, where you can share your love for coffee while providing outstanding service to our valued customers!
