Position:Full-Time STEAM Teacher Location:Hope Leadership Academy - Kansas City, MO Start Date:August 2026 About Hope Leadership Academy (HLA):Hope Leadership Academy is a neighborhood charter school dedicated to providing a world-class education for every student, every day.We are committed to academic excellence, strong relationships, and innovative teaching that prepares students to lead and succeed.Position Overview:We are seeking a passionate and innovative Full-Time STEAM Teacher to join our team.The STEAM Teacher will develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics for students in grades K-5.The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, foster problem-solving skills, and integrate real-world applications into student learning.Responsibilities:Design and teach dynamic STEAM lessons aligned to Missouri Learning Standards.Use project-based learning, technology, and creative approaches to engage students.Collaborate with classroom teachers to create cross-curricular learning experiences.Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.Assess student understanding and provide regular feedback to students and parents.Participate in school events, professional development, PLCs, and staff meetings.Support HLA's mission, vision, and culture in all interactions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education or a STEAM-related field (Master's preferred).Missouri teaching certification or ability to obtain one.Experience teaching STEAM or related subjects, preferably in elementary grades.Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.Compensation & Benefits:Full-time position with competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement.Paid time off and professional development opportunities..
