Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager who provides oversight and process management of SPD and HLD areas and programs within the ASC setting in collaboration with ASC facility leadership and SVG leadership teams. The Sterile Processing Manager provides direct patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting while acting as a preceptor for all other Sterile Processing Technicians. You will be the subject matter expert in instrumentation, equipment and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures. What you will do Provide support, education and serve as a resource for your sterile processing department You will demonstrate advance knowledge and skills in instrument handling and sterilization You will provide support for the sterilization of instrumentation and assembly of surgical trays and supplies Monitor the quality of sterilization within your center by working under the guidelines and regulatory requirements of the governing bodies You will assist leadership in budgeting for surgical instruments while operating within budgetary constraints Qualifications you will need: Graduate of Sterile Processing program required Bachelor’s degree preferred 5 years sterile processing experience in an acute setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center 3 years in a management or supervisory role License or certification in sterile processing through IAHCSMM/CBSPD, Certified Flexible Endoscopic Reprocessing Certification (CFER), or a related certification(s) required Please be sure to list current license information on your application Benefits HCA Healthcare, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
