What You Will Do: Cleans, wraps, sterilizes, stores and distributes equipment, supplies, instruments and endoscopes used in patient care. Assists area clinical staff by using specialized knowledge in surgical instrumentation and procedures to prepare for surgical cases. Provides technical guidance to others involved in the assembly of instrumentation and preparation of case carts. Trains colleagues on various skills and tasks. Acts as a resource or mentor to colleagues with less experience. Candidates will only be considered who have 2 active CRCST/CSPDT/CFER national certificates and/or are a Certified Surgical Technologist. No provisional certifications will be accepted. What You Will Need: High School Diploma or GED required. Requires one national certification (CRCST,CSPDT,CFER or CST) and a second national certification related to central service or sterile processing (Examples: CIS CSIP CFER CST CHMM CHL).
