Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Night Shift Location: Portland, Oregon 97213 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift – 5x8 Hours Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: Friday – Tuesday Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a well-established acute care facility in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sterile processing, surgical instrumentation, decontamination procedures, and inventory management within a fast-paced surgical services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in supporting operating room workflows during overnight shifts. Key Responsibilities Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment Inspect, test, and prepare instrument trays according to established standards and protocols Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization guidelines Manage instrument tracking and inventory processes efficiently Support operating room teams with timely processing and delivery of sterile supplies Ensure accurate documentation within hospital systems and workflows Requirements Recent Sterile Processing Technician experience required Previous travel assignment experience preferred Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards and surgical instrumentation Experience with SPM systems and robotics preferred Ability to work independently in a high-volume surgical environment Experience with Epic charting system preferred Ability to consistently work night shifts Required Certifications CST or CRCST Certification BLS Certification For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
