Pride Health is hiring an SPD Instrument Processing Specialist to support our client’s medical facility based in Rochester, MN . This is a 13-week assignment with a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Title: SPD Instrument Processing Specialist Location: Rochester, MN Hourly W2 pay: $30/hr - $35/hr Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday 4x10s or 5x8s Evening/Night available Start date: 06/01/2026 Responsibilities: Perform sterile processing, decontamination, and instrument preparation Maintain and inspect surgical instrument sets and equipment Track lost/broken instruments and maintain records in the Instrument Tracking System software Perform weekly missing instrument audits Support OR teams with proper instruments and equipment processing Follow procedure manuals and support safe surgical care Requirements: High school diploma/GED or 3 years of hospital instrumentation experience Strong sterile processing/instrument prep experience required Computer proficiency and strong communication skills BLS CBSPD or CRCST (required for travelers) Certified Central Service Technician Instrument Specialist Certification Pride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
