We are seeking a driven and analytical Inventory Manager to help support dealership growth, vehicle strategy, and operational performance at Steven Ford. About the Position The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing vehicle inventory strategy, pricing, and flow to ensure the dealership maintains the right vehicles at the right time. This role directly impacts sales performance, inventory turn, and overall profitability. You will work closely with sales leadership to monitor market trends, manage aging inventory, and ensure vehicles are competitively priced and properly merchandised online. This position is focused on inventory operations, strategy, and dealership performance — not traditional retail sales or direct customer-facing sales responsibilities. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and track all dealership inventory including purchases, trades, and transfers Monitor inventory aging and implement strategies to improve turn rates Price vehicles based on market data and competitive analysis Utilize inventory management tools (vAuto, CRM, etc.) to guide decisions Ensure all vehicles are properly merchandised, photographed, and listed online Coordinate with sales managers on inventory needs and stocking strategy Manage reconditioning timelines to ensure vehicles are front-line ready Identify and exit aged or non-performing inventory Qualifications Previous automotive dealership experience preferred Experience with inventory management, used car operations, or purchasing preferred Strong understanding of vehicle pricing and market trends Experience with tools like vAuto or similar platforms is a plus Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Valid driver’s license required Compensation $50,000 – $100,000+ annually based on experience and performance Schedule Full-time position Why Join Steven Ford?
