Stock Clerk

Currently, we are looking for an stock clerk to join our team in Shelton, CT.The ideal candidate will have previous liquor store retail experience and be able to work Friday through Sunday, a minimum of 24 hours per week.Evenings and some holidays are required.In addition, this position is responsible for increasing guest confidence and loyalty by promoting and executing consistent operation conditions, providing courteous, knowledgeable and prompt customer service while consistently maintaining a positive shopping experience.Job Requirements & Responsibilities Previous liquor store retail experience preferred Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both in-person and on the phone Must be proficient in the handling of money Must be over the age of 18 Years, as mandated by the State of Connecticut Must be able to perform long hours on their feet Must be able to consistently and repeatedly be able to lift up to 50lbs Applicants are expected to work on the days leading to all major Holidays and in some instances the day of.Major holidays include, but are not limited to Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July.Applicants will be expected to process payments including cash, credit, debit & gift card.All positions in the store will require light maintenance work, examples of which include but are not limited to cleaning, dusting, and removal of garbage.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:From $17.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
