Duties Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized to maximize sales and customer satisfaction Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods Provide friendly assistance to customers by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits of new or popular items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor to promote a safe shopping environment Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging displays and replenishing stock as required Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in both English and bilingual settings Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions and balancing registers Proven supervising experience or ability to oversee stock organization during busy periods Knowledge of grocery store operations, stocking procedures, and retail sales techniques Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cashiering and inventory management Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
