Job OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stocker to join our vibrant retail team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our store's inventory management, ensuring shelves are stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers.Your energy and organizational skills will help create a seamless shopping experience, whether you're stocking produce, handling shipments, or maintaining the cleanliness of our retail space.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in inventory control, customer service, and retail operations while working in a fast-paced environment that values your contributions.Responsibilities Efficiently load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring safe handling of heavy items.Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks and inventory management practices.Use RF scanners to track products during receiving, stocking, and shipping processes.Organize merchandise on shelves or displays following merchandising standards to enhance store presentation.Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including labeling, packing, and documentation.Support store cleaning routines to uphold a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.Provide excellent customer service by helping shoppers locate products and answering their questions in multiple languages if needed.Perform routine maintenance on equipment such as pallet jacks and ensure all safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting or forklift operation.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking procedures and communicate effectively across departments.Support retail sales efforts by replenishing stock promptly and assisting with cashiering when required.Experience Prior warehouse experience or retail experience is highly preferred; familiarity with grocery stores or similar environments is a plus.Demonstrated ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively.Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail in inventory control and merchandising.Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive movements with efficiency.Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate stock counts and pricing adjustments.Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, product packaging, stocking techniques, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a busy store setting.Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional shopping experiences!
