JOB DESCRIPTION The Stocker/ Visual Merchandising Coordinator is primarily responsible for all operations of the warehouse within our retail store. This includes actively maintaining and stocking all merchandise and working with shipping and receiving for new merchandise as it arrives. This position is also responsible for overall look of the sales floor and displays in order to maximize sales with the guidance and direction of the management team. Main duties include stocking, straightening, and taking inventory of merchandise and returns. High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer 1+ year experience in stocking/merchandising role Knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs with an emphasis on Excel. Able to work independently while still working within a team environment Must be able to multitask. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. ACCOUNTABILITY Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE) compliance as per the BATFE Federal Firearms Regulations and BATFE State Laws and Published Ordinances Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) NICS background call procedures and response implications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Faces all product daily. This includes fronting all accessories, arrange firearms by calibers, placing tags on the wall, keep rifles and shotguns on the wall spaced evenly Execution of all plan-o-grams and inventory guidelines Comply with departmental policies and standard operating procedures Work directly with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Control Supervisor to ensure we are not low on products Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break. Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, carry and move items up to 50 pounds without assistance. Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Ability to distinguish color to perform job functions.
