BASIC FUNCTION:This position provides clerical and administrative assistance to support plant-purchasing activities.NATURE AND SCOPE:The Pasco plant produces Food Service, Roasted Vegetables, Mashed Potatoes, Dehydrofrozen Potatoes, and Corn.The individual in this position will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the stockroom, along with having the ability to make decisions based on the tools given.Examples are:Process Guidelines, JDE, etc.It is important that the person(s) conduct themselves in a manner that ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of their equipment and surroundings.The individual in this position will accomplish these tasks by utilizing a team concept by working with team members and following instruction from the Purchasing Manager.Must also establish and maintain open communication and productive working relationships with the Production, Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance members and other shift support personnel.SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:1.Ensures no injury to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.2.May Issue supplies, tools, and parts to employees and ensure all issues are recorded in computer inventory systems.3.Assist in the completion and maintenance of inventory information including performing cycle counts.4.Maintain knowledge of parts and equipment used within the plant 5.Pick up parts and supplies from stores and vendors as necessary.BASIC JOB Qualifications:1.Must be able to communicate in a manner to successfully perform job duties.2.Must demonstrate the ability to accurately measure objects using a tape measure.3.Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) 4.Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods of time.5.Must be able to work in extreme environments, such as hot, cold, wet, very loud noise, and slick floors.6.Must be able to work in pressure situations.7.Must have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.8.Must be able to maneuver in close quarters and climb stairs.9.Candidate must be able to train others when needed.10.Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.11.Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $20.30 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:401(k) Health insurance Work Location:In person.
