Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer service-oriented Store Clerk to join our team.Valley Irrigation has been a mainstay in MT's agricultural community for over 50 years decades.We value integrity, loyalty and exceptionalism.We are looking to hire an individual with the same values that will carry over to their job duties as well as coworker and customer interactions.As a Store Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the store operates smoothly.Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining inventory, and performing various sales-related tasks.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling.Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase sales.Maintain organized stock levels by restocking shelves and managing inventory effectively as able.Communicate with team via provided radio system Other related duties as assigned.Qualifications Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to retail operations.Must be well groomed and neat and clean for public contact Full Time and Part time hours available.Open Mon through Saturday Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay:$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours:20 - 40 per week Benefits:Employee discount License/Certification:Driver's License (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Corvallis, MT 59828 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate:Corvallis, MT 59828:Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
