Marina Store Lead Location : Lake Havasu City, Arizona Wage: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE Lake Havasu Riviera Marina is an equal opportunity employer. This position will be responsible for supervising the Marina Store staff, inventory management and receiving, and is responsible for the effective and successful supervision of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set by senior management and ownership. The marina Store Lead will ensure safe and efficient operations and serve as a company representative on regular issues. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws. The Marina Store Lead duties and responsibilities include assisting in interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning and directing work employee motivation and rewards. The Marina Store Lead is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the marina store and fuel docks to included oversight of supplies and merchandise orders, bringing new product in to the store, driving sales through effective visual merchandising, and inventory control, and creating and maintaining a culture focused around excellent customer service, building relationships with our guests and maintaining a respectful work environment. Key Roles and Responsibilities Create a culture that focuses on a high level of Customer Experience and build strong relationships with marina guests. Leads by example and holds others accountable. Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions Assist in the planning and reviewing of compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends Coordinates with Marina Management on merchandise displays, sales promotions and advertising Assist in developing operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace Enhance relationships with key operations vendors Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels Communicate customer issues with team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation. Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the manager. Skills and Proficiencies : Business acumen and 1 – 2 years of Retail Sales experience required Teamwork and People Management Customer Service Skills Conflict Management Change Management Organized, Dependable, Deadline Orientated Data Entry and Data Processing Skills Reporting, Critical Thinking, Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills Adaptability and Stress Tolerance Experience: Proven experience in delivering an outstanding customer experience Energetic, enthusiastic, positive attitude, and enjoys the company of others Proven leadership of a staff of 10+ employees Strong interpersonal and communication skills MS Office proficient and an understanding of internet-based applications (Word & Excel) Ability to adapt to new software Driver’s license with a clean record Schedule The nature of our business at the Havasu Riviera Marina requires all employees to work weekends. All applicants need to expect to work all summer holidays and Marina events. Federal and state working hours and vacation allowances will be respected, as a minimum.
