Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. Duties Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities. Manage store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and payroll processing. Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards. Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract customers and increase store traffic. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and foster positive relationships with shoppers. Monitor sales performance using retail math and management tools; adjust strategies as needed to meet goals. Supervise shift management, scheduling, and employee orientation to ensure smooth daily operations. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training & development opportunities for staff. Experience Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, purchasing, pricing strategies, and retail math. Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills coupled with leadership qualities to supervise teams effectively. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or wireless sales is preferred. Knowledge of marketing techniques and store merchandising standards to enhance store presentation. Ability to manage budgets, perform retail math calculations accurately, and oversee stock stocking processes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
