Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Store Manager - In Training.Must have management skills within a retail environment.The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in store operations, customer service, driving sales, collections, team supervision, and inventory management, preparing for future store management responsibilities.This position emphasizes leadership development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.Must be relocatable within the market.Responsibilities Acquisition and Maintenance of Customers First up for recruiting and staffing their store Close all lease agreements Complete Quality Control Calls on all new lease agreements within 1 business day of delivery Personally responsible for all renewal activity Physically monitor the back door whenever inventory movement occurs Facilitate and reconcile inventories by Wednesday of every week Personally authorize all returns Safeguard all company assets Ensure accurate and timely bank deposits Maintain company vehicles within safe operating standards Train and develop store Team Members Achieve planned growth and profit goals Ensure execution of all Customer service programs, company guidelines, and policies Provide a safe, clean environment for Customers and Team Members Ensure adequate availability of merchandise at all times Accurately report financial measures and transactions Plan and organize to meet or exceed forecasted financial goals Ensure the published hours of store operations are met Recruit, hire, and train to ensure efficient operations Ensure all returned merchandise is certified, reclassified, and priced Support team members through employee orientation, training, and development initiatives Participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong team Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and professionalism Oversee inventory purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with company policies Supervise staff schedules, shift management, and ensure smooth store functioning during operating hours Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly Support marketing efforts to increase store visibility and sales performance Uphold organizational standards related to cleanliness, safety, and store presentation Assist in budgeting, sales tracking, and retail math to meet store goals Experience Previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or similar stores is preferred Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and team management are essential Experience with inventory management systems (POS, stock control) and retail math is advantageous Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on training & development and employee engagement Familiarity with merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail sales techniques Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and maintain phone etiquette standards This Store Manager - In Training position provides a comprehensive pathway into retail management through practical experience in leadership, operations, customer service, and team supervision.We seek proactive individuals eager to grow their careers while contributing positively to our store's success.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
