Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and validating structural systems to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with industry standards. You will play a key role in transforming design concepts into practical construction solutions while supporting projects through all phases of development. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and calculations for various building components and systems. Develop and review structural designs in coordination with architectural and engineering teams. Prepare detailed drawings and construction documentation using CAD and/or Revit tools. Evaluate project requirements and provide engineering solutions to address design and construction challenges. Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Support construction activities by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site assessments when required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, materials, and analysis methods. Proficiency in structural design and calculation techniques. Working knowledge of CAD and/or Revit software. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on construction or building design projects. Familiarity with cold-formed steel (CFS) design and applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
