Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Field Inspector to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and building codes. Perform regular inspections of structural components, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing elements, to verify quality and adherence to project plans. Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to identify potential issues and ensure proper implementation. Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and checklists, maintaining accurate records for project documentation. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address any deficiencies or non-compliance issues promptly. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site. Assist in resolving on-site technical problems and provide guidance to construction teams as needed. Participate in pre-construction meetings and site audits to ensure project milestones are met. Skills Needed: Strong knowledge of structural materials and construction methods, excellent observational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
