Make your summer count by working as a Student Assistant for the New York State Department of Health’s Center for Environmental Health (CEH)!Student Assistants support the mission of CEH by performing a variety of administrative and environmental health functions during New York State’s summer season and beyond. Student Assistant positions assist CEH district office environmental health staff by performing a variety of critical administrative support functions. Positions may also perform environmental health inspection functions in the field for the purposes of ensuring compliance with the New York State Sanitary Code and environmental health regulations.A Student Assistant role provides interested individuals with the ability to gain real world experience in the field of public health through on-the-job training.
