Student Interns- NBPS 21st CCLC Summer Program

New Bedford Public Schools is seeking motivated New Bedford High School students to serve as 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Student Interns. These internships provide hands-on experience in education, youth development, and leadership through participation in engaging Project-Based Learning (PBL) programs.Interns will support educators and will be working directly with students enrolled in 21st CCLC summer programs. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers in education, counseling, social work, or youth services.Qualifications:Must have work permit.Must be a current New Bedford High School studentPrior 21* CCLC after school program students encouraged to applyMust be interested in project based learningMust participate/complete training modulesMust participate in project based learning trainingsMust be able to work with children ages 6 - 14Must have reliable transportationPositive attitude, flexible, and a team playerTerms of Employment:Reports to: Grants Manager and Summer Intern CoordinatorRate: $15/hourDates: July 1, 2026 July 30, 2026Hours: 7:30am 2:30pm (Monday Friday)
