Resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, independent thinking, and sound business judgment Experience: Public accounting: 3+ years (Preferred), Bookkeeping: 3+ years (Preferred), Studio Designer Software: 1+ years (Preferred), Sales Tax: 1+ years (Preferred), Payroll: 1+ years (Preferred) Flexible hours but candidates must be available to work during regular business hours 5 days a week. 40+ hours (Full-Time) per week Staff Bookkeeper will be responsible for assigned clients' needs in addition to but not limited to the following: This position will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload and ensure work is completed within agreed-upon time frames. Remotely connect to assigned clients and provide Studio Designer software training/troubleshooting. Monthly reconciliations of cash and credit card account transactions Enter daily and monthly sales for credit card payments, wire transfers, cash receipts, etc Confirm A/P and A/R accounts are correct. Complete invoice processing as required for sales tax purposes Resolving accounting vendor and client payment discrepancies Assisting in month-end close procedures, journal entries, preparing financial statements, sales and payroll tax reporting, other reconciliations, etc Year-end 1099s Listens carefully to client questions and needs Adhere to strict client confidentiality Maintain a professional development plan to continually develop technical and professional skills consistent with the Firm's requirements and philosophy.
