Job Overview We are seeking a high-energy, sales-driven Studio Manager to lead the pre-sales, launch, and ongoing operations of a boutique infrared sauna and light therapy studio. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who excels at selling memberships, building community relationships, and driving revenue in a performance-based environment. The Studio Manager will be directly responsible for founding membership sales, pop-up and community events, and local marketing activations , while also overseeing studio staff and daily operations. This position offers a variable compensation structure , with a base salary complemented by commission and performance-based bonuses tied to membership sales and revenue milestones. Responsibilities Pre-Sales, Membership Sales & Revenue Growth Own and lead all pre-sales initiatives , with a primary focus on selling founding memberships and early-access packages Actively sell memberships through in-studio tours, pop-up events, phone, text, email, and follow-up campaigns Consistently meet or exceed monthly and launch-phase sales targets tied directly to commission and bonus opportunities Track leads, conversions, and sales performance to maximize revenue and compensation potential Partner with leadership to develop promotional offers, pricing strategies, and limited-time incentives Pop-Up Events & Community Outreach Plan, coordinate, and execute pop-up sales events, brand activations, and off-site wellness events Build relationships with local businesses, apartment communities, corporate offices, and wellness partners to generate leads Serve as the primary brand ambassador , representing the studio with enthusiasm and professionalism in the community Use events as direct sales opportunities to drive founding memberships and trial conversions Marketing & Brand Growth Implement grassroots and local marketing initiatives to build awareness and demand prior to and after studio opening Support digital and social campaigns by driving in-person lead capture and follow-up Maintain consistent brand standards across all sales, events, and client interactions Team Leadership & Sales Culture Hire, onboard, train, and lead front-of-house and sales staff Train team members on membership offerings, pricing, sales scripts, objection handling, and conversion best practices Foster a goal-oriented, commission-aware sales culture focused on performance, accountability, and growth Conduct regular team meetings to review sales metrics, incentives, and performance goals Studio Operations & Administration Oversee daily studio operations, scheduling, and customer experience Manage POS systems, membership agreements, cash handling, and retail sales with accuracy Handle payroll processing, basic bookkeeping, and inventory management Coordinate purchasing, merchandising, and inventory control Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures Compensation Structure Base Salary (80%) – Provides stable income while building the studio and team Commission & Bonus (20%) – Earned through: Founding membership sales Monthly membership and revenue targets Pop-up event performance Launch and growth milestones High performers will have uncapped earning potential based on sales results and studio success. Qualifications Proven experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, or service-based sales environments Strong background in membership sales, pre-sales, or new studio/location launches Demonstrated success in commission-based or performance-driven roles Confident, consultative sales approach with excellent communication and closing skills Experience planning and executing events, pop-ups, or community marketing activations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train sales-focused teams Proficiency with POS systems, CRM or lead-tracking tools, and retail math Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus Previous Studio Manager, Assistant Manager, or Sales Lead experience preferred Why This Role This is an opportunity to build, sell, and lead from the ground up .
