Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma Certification: Valid CPR Certification Valid First Aid Certification License : Valid Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or evidence of working toward licensure and equivalent experience. Experience : N/A Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand and comply with confidentiality protocol. Ability to build and maintain working relationships, positive rapport, and effectively communicate with students, staff, and parents. Ability to organize and plan effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania nursing standards. Ability to utilize current software/technology packages and related equipment. Functions/Duties/Responsibilities: Primary: Health Room Assist School Nurse in maintaining and completing all required health charts and reports. Assist with screening students for the maintenance of health records. Maintain and update dental records and physical health records. Organize the flow of the Health Room during school Physical and Dental exams. Transcribe health records and organize records into class lists. Prepare data entry for confidential list and immunizations. <
