We're looking for a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our vibrant learning community and help our students thrive.We are seeking Substitute Paraprofessionals interested in working in Reynoldsburg City Schools through Dedicated School Staffing.We are strongly seeking candidates interested in working with middle school students, but encourage interested candidates to apply as we work with all grade levels, and there are plenty of opportunities to work multiple days a week.Core responsibilities Instructional Support:Reinforce lessons, help with assignments, and answer student questions individually or in small groups.Classroom Management:Supervise students, enforce rules and positive behavior, and help maintain a clean and organized classroom.Student Support:Provide assistance to students with special needs, learning differences, or behavioral challenges, which may include academic, personal, or emotional support.Administrative and Clerical Duties:Assist with tasks such as preparing teaching materials, grading, record-keeping (like attendance), and other clerical duties.Supervision:Monitor students during non-instructional times, such as recess, lunch, and field trips.Collaboration:Work with teachers on lesson plans and communicate with parents and other staff members.Patient and calm demeanor Ability to assist with physical needs, such as dressing, feeding, toileting, moving and lifting if that was needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED Clean FBI/BCI Background checks (The cost will be covered upon hire for this position.) Ability to obtain an Educational Aide permit through the Ohio Department of Education (instructions will be provided) 2 professional references Previous experience working with or volunteering with school aged children Previous experience working or volunteering with individuals with special needs or learning disabilities Good communication skills Substitute Paraprofessional:$16.05 hourly Substitute Specialized Paraprofessional:$16.40 hourly Does this sound like you?
