Substitute Teacher- High School and Middle School

The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks highly motivated and effective on call substitute teachers to join our school faculty and staff for the 2025-2026 school year. Roles And Responsibilities Provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans Create a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students Maintain a safe and orderly environment Maintain established routine of the school and the classroom procedures in which assigned Remain at school the entire school day (7:45-3:30) unless otherwise instructed to leave by a building administrator Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities Maintain reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated Help supervise students throughout school day, inside, and outside classroom Keep teachers or teams informed of special needs or problems of individual students Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with Substitute Teaching License or ability to obtain a Temporary 1 Year Non-Bachelor's Substitute Teaching License
