Summer 2026 Champs Camp: Teacher Assistants

The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for Classroom Teacher Assistants for anticipated summer programming. The District seeks dynamic, energetic teacher assistants who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of PreK-5 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences. Teacher assistants will support lead teachers with summer programming for our Summer CHAMPs Camp. Expected Dates: July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026, plus pre-planning and training. Job duties include working with Champs Camp Lead Teachers to carry out designed student activities and lessons. Must possess a teaching certification or the ability to obtain a PA emergency certificate, including those Education majors with at least 60 credits.
