Summer Camp Counselor – KidzNext-Door Position Summary KidzNext-Door is seeking energetic, responsible, and positive Summer Camp Counselors to help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children during our summer camp program. Counselors will assist with daily activities, supervise campers, support learning experiences, and help ensure all children have a positive summer experience. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children throughout the camp day Assist with arts & crafts, games, STEM activities, dance, outdoor play, and group activities Help maintain a safe and positive environment at all times Support campers with transitions, routines, and behavior expectations Assist with snack distribution and clean-up Communicate professionally with staff, parents, and supervisors Help set up and clean activity areas daily Ensure campers are always accounted for and properly supervised Follow all camp policies and safety procedures Qualifications Experience working with children preferred Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Ability to manage groups of children in a structured setting Strong communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to participate in indoor and outdoor activities Schedule Seasonal Summer Position Monday–Friday Hours may vary based on camp needs Summer Camp Dates Week 1: June 22 – June 26 Week 2: June 29 – July 3 Week 3: July 6 – July 10 Week 4: July 13 – July 17 Week 5: July 20 – July 24 Week 6: July 27 – July 31 MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL SUMMER CAMP WEEKS.
