Summer Camp Instructor Assistant Bricks Bots & Beakers of South Florida is an exciting education company that creates meaningful opportunities for children to experience a full range of STEAM classes, camps and workshops. B3 offers a variety of engaging classes and summer camps that enhance STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics). As a Bricks Bots & Beakers (B3) Summer Camp Counselor, you will assist our instructor, as he/she leads in STEAM skills and concepts, critical to develop 21st century learners. Students will be ages 4-11 years old. We are looking for fun, engaging, hardworking and reliable instructors. When: Must be available to work M-F 8:30 AM-3:00 PM and/or 3:00 PM-5:30 PM during the summer (June-August). Potential for growth within is high, as the company is growing rapidly. Qualifications MUST enjoy working with children Be passionate about engaging children in a classroom and play environment! Be eager, energetic, and ready to have FUN! Be reliable, professional. Be able to communicate and cooperate in a team-orientated environment. Operate safely and effectively under the supervision of our instructors. Must be able to successfully pass fingerprinting and background check. Must attend mandatory staff meeting orientation. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Must love science and slime! Assist in implementing classroom management techniques to maintain order and foster positive behavior. Provide support for children with special needs and adapt activities to meet diverse learning requirements. Conduct first aid as necessary and ensure the well-being of all campers. Collaborate with fellow counselors to plan and execute educational and recreational programs.
