C-Coders is looking for enthusiastic summer instructors to lead engaging coding enrichment programs for elementary school students. Our classes introduce students to foundational computer science concepts through a blend of online learning, hands-on activities, and beginner-friendly robotics. We believe great instructors are first and foremost great educators. You do not need to be an expert coder to succeed in this role. We are looking for wonderful teachers who know how to connect with students, create an engaging classroom environment, and bring energy, patience, and creativity to their work. All curriculum materials, lesson plans, and training are provided. Ideal candidates have at least two years of classroom experience and are comfortable managing groups of young learners in a fun, structured setting. Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff are essential. Because much of our curriculum is web-based, instructors should have access to a laptop they can bring to program sessions (please let us know if this is a challenge). Candidates should also feel comfortable with basic technology, including navigating Google tools, connecting to Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting minor tech issues independently. Program Dates & Hours July 20–24 | 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM July 27–31 | 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM Instructor Responsibilities Arrive before each session begins and remain onsite until all students are dismissed according to school procedures Successfully complete a background check Review lesson materials, test robotics equipment, and prepare slides prior to each session Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for students Follow all school policies, expectations, and daily procedures Before your first session, you will receive onboarding and training from our team. Our Curriculum Designer is also available to answer questions and provide implementation support throughout the program. Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
