Position Type: Food Service/Summer Food Service Date Posted: 5/4/2026 Location: Jefferson High School Position: Summer Food Service Manager - Jefferson High School Effective Date: June 15, 2026 Hours: 5.25 hours per day (7:00am - 12:15pm) 5 days per week June 5, 2024 - July 2, 2026 (14 days) Non working day: June 19 Salary: Range $ 27.06 - $ 27.89 Responsibilities: Demonstrated leadership skills in management of Food Service staff including: Supervision of kitchen operation/prep/cooking for both breakfast and lunch Scheduling workers Record keeping skills, ordering, and daily accounting Monitoring compliance with USDA, ISD#271, and City of Bloomington Health guidelines Resourceful innovative approach to problem solving Computer literacy with ability to learn the District's electronic food payment system Demonstrated human relations skills and customer service in interacting with principal's, staff, students, and public Demonstrated willingness to work with students of various social, economic, and culturally diverse backgrounds Interest in working with students and parent groups Professional interest and support of the MN School Food Service Association certification, classes, and workshops Performs heavy cleaning and inventory of building food service area and equipment at the close of the school year Essential Functions: Lifting up to 38 pounds Lifting and twisting to accommodate moving food pans and dish racks in the dishroom area Repetitive motion often required Able to work on feet up to 3 hours Working in a noisy environment Be visually
