Summer Manufacturing Support 5S Assistant

DESCRIPTION: Co-operative Plating is seeking a motivated summer helper to assist with plant organization and 5S improvement projects in our manufacturing facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Projects may include Creating and installing labels and tank signage Organizing shop supplies and storage areas Building inventory lists and tracking spreadsheets Assisting with masking plug inventory and storage systems Supporting visual workplace and continuous improvement efforts · Supports with administrative duties and other tasks as needed · Performs all other tasks as required by management REQUIRED SKILLS: · Must be 18 years or older Basic computer skills (Excel, printing labels/signs, simple formatting) Organized and detail oriented Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment Able to follow standards and work independently · Ability to function independently while working well within a team environment · Ability to communicate at all levels of organization in support of company objectives REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Mechanical aptitude Experience with tools, manufacturing, or shop environments Familiarity with 5S or organization systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Work Location: In person
