Summer/Substitute Paraprofessional - Per Diem

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to work as a productive member of the instructional team to maximize student outcomes.Under the supervision of the Teacher, the duties of the Summer/Substitute Paraprofessional will vary, depending upon assignment but include and not limited to the following: Fosters a safe and positive environment for all students and staff in accordance with SCEC policies Supervises students both in- and out-of classroom settingsFollows professional practices consistent with SCEC policies in working with students, students records, parents/guardians, and colleagues, including maintaining the confidentiality of student and school personnel information.Performs other related duties as assigned by program administrator(s) in accordance with SCEC policies and practices.Develop positive relationships with employees and students.Maintain confidentialityOther duties as required.EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: Participation in mentoring/ training sessions across Collaborative programsOpportunities for job mobility: on-going career counseling; training opportunities; degree/ licensure programs; other professional development opportunities.Certification in CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire and commitment to keep certification current.Certification in CPI within 30 days of hire and commitment to keep certification current.SALARY: $20 per hour for six to six and a half hours per day as needed.
