This is a fixed term position, beginning June 15, 2026 and ending August 21, 2026. The Summer Program Support Coordinator plays a key role in preparing for and supporting the successful execution of Summer programs including Continuing Ed classes, Art Educator Institute, Pre-College Program, and our Bridge Program. This position assists with logistical coordination, program setup and operations, and event support throughout the summer. This position is the primary supervisor of The Summer Program Support Assistant as an additional support to summer programming. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities (Summer Immersive Classes): Serves as a primary program support for Montserrat’s Summer Immersive Classes under the supervision of Academic Staff Organizes and transports art supplies into classroom spaces and assists with classroom clean up Supports Academic staff with day-to-day coordination and scheduling of Summer Immersive Classes Key Responsibilities (Art Educator Summer Institute): Serves as a primary program support to Admissions Staff before, during, and after the Art Educator Summer Institute Organizes and transports art supplies and apartment materials into classroom spaces and residence halls Assists with setting up residential apartments for Art Educators, and ensures all spaces are clean, stocked, and ready for occupancy Supports Admissions staff during participant move-in and move-out processes (June 21st and June 28th) Assists with directing arrivals, managing materials, and troubleshooting logistical needs during the Institute Assists Admissions staff during the Art Educator’s Friday field trip (June 27th) Supervises the Summer Program Support Assistant in completion of Art Educator Institute tasks Key Responsibilities (Pre-College Program): Serves as a primary program support to Admissions Staff before, during, and after the Pre-College Program. Completes preparation tasks as needed and provides general staff support, including supply inventories, schedule organization, and classroom preparation. Provide daily coordination and staff/student support for program operations, including: Maintaining organized program spaces and classrooms Supporting students on a day-to-day basis by responding to participant needs and maintaining attendance records Supporting staff with program administrative and logistical tasks Assists with event logistics during program move-in and move-out days (July 12th and August 1st) and Saturday Field Trips (July 18th and July 25th) Assists with post-program record keeping and data entry Supervises the Summer Program Support Assistant in the completion of Pre-College Program tasks Key Responsibilities (Bridge Program): Serves as primary program support to the Bridge Program Coordinator and Lead Bridge Faculty before, during, and after the Bridge Program (beginning the week of August 3rd through the end of the program). Assists with event logistics during program move-in (August 8th), Bridge Lunches (8/14, 8/16, 8/21), and other events throughout the program as needed. Assist with daily coordination and staff/student support for the program, including: Checking attendance of programs and alerting the Bridge Program Coordinator of any absences or issues Supporting students on a day-to-day basis, responding to program participant needs Supporting faculty and staff teaching in the Bridge Program with classroom preparation, materials pickup, materials drop-off, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have Administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift and move supplies as needed Effective communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks Previous event, residential life, academic program coordination, or program support experience preferred To apply, please visit the Montserrat Career Center.
