Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Summer Strip and Wax Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning, floor care, and waxing tasks that keep our spaces looking pristine and inviting. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Execute floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to ensure floors are polished and well-maintained. Prepare surfaces for waxing by thoroughly cleaning and stripping old wax layers as needed. Use environmentally friendly cleaning products to uphold safety standards and promote sustainability. Follow established janitorial protocols to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any repairs needed promptly. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is a plus. Knowledge of environmental services practices or commercial cleaning standards is beneficial. Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
