We are a rapidly growing, family business developing real estate in the DFW area, with divisions of Single Family Residential, Multi-Family, and Commercial Construction. We are seeking a Site Superintendent for our Multi-Family division. The Superintendent is a vital role in our processes. Our superintendents take ownership and responsibility for everything that happens on the site. They are leaders and motivators. They are visionaries with an obsession for leadership, planning, quality control, partner relationship management. We do train our superintendents in proven processes and systems, but at this time we are seeking an experienced superintendent who is already proficient in systematic thinking, meticulous planning, and implementing functional systems. Responsibilities Coordinate with the Project Manager to set milestones, deadlines, production goals and schedules. Organize and schedule multiple trades on an extended timeline. Communicate with trades and vendors in an organized and respectful way, keeping a record of all vital conversations. Assure site safety. Achieve production goals. Coordinate with Project Engineer to maintain "As-Built" documents in real time. Lead and motivate assistants to ensure quality and the meeting of contractual obligations from our partners. Adhere to quality assurance practices Document control and management Qualifications: Experience supervising construction of at least one successful Multifamily project. Ability to read plans. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Educated on safety issues (OSHA certified). Procore, MS Project, or other scheduling software. Proficient with MS Office, especially excel. Good reading and writing skills. Excellent soft skills--communication, negotiation, motivation, social skills, leadership. Either degree
