Summary The Superintendent is responsible for supervising field construction to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet the specified quality standards. This role provides direct oversight of all field personnel and promotes a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Duties & Responsibilities Project Supervision Coordinate and supervise all construction activities Direct field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards Scheduling & Planning Create and maintain construction schedules; identify and resolve issues Order materials and schedule inspections as needed Prepare schedules and supervise completion of final punch lists Develop and maintain site logistic plans and maintain an organized, clean job site, including construction office Technical Oversight Apply knowledge and experience across multiple trades’ scopes of work Manage self-performed duties Safety & Compliance Promote job site safety and encourage safe work practices Identify and immediately rectify job site hazards Ensure all employees and contractors adhere to company safety policies Client & Team Relations Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience 4-year college degree preferred (construction management or related field) or equivalent work experience Minimum 1 year relevant experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production across all construction phases Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Skills & Competencies Organized with a systematic approach for accuracy and efficiency Well-developed interpersonal skills to manage diverse personalities Benefits Compensation Salary range: $135,000 – $205,000 annually (Seattle range) Annual discretionary bonus based on company profitability and performance Health & Insurance Medical, dental, and vision insurance (PPO and High Deductible/HSA plan options) Company contribution to HSA Company-paid short- and long-term disability Company-paid life insurance and AD&D Time Off Untracked/unmeasured vacation Sick leave accrued at 1 hour per 30 hours worked (up to 80-hour annual carryover) 9 paid holidays annually Paid parental leave Retirement & Ownership 401(k) with company match (100% match on first 3%, 50% match on next 2% — up to 4% total match) Immediate 100% vesting on all contributions Traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) options available Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), 100% company-funded after 1 year of service (minimum 1,000 hours) Additional Perks Vehicle or vehicle allowance Fuel card and toll pass Physical & Work Environment Traverse construction-type terrain and active job sites Climb ladders and temporary stairways Conduct visual inspections of construction quality and materials Work in environments with exposure to noise, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme weather conditions Duties are performed primarily on-site and in-office; this is not a remote role Employment Type: Full time Location: Seattle, WA
