Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on ground-up and tenant improvement commercial projects. This role is responsible for coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds and interior build-outs Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel across multiple trades Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules, including 3-week lookaheads Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control and compliance with plans and specifications Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align field execution with project goals and budgets Lead subcontractor meetings and daily site briefings Identify and proactively resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and progress documentation Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and permitting requirements Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects Proven track record managing projects such as office, retail, industrial, healthcare, or multifamily developments Strong understanding of commercial construction practices, sequencing, and safety standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Demonstrated leadership and team management skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) Valid driver’s license and ability to
