Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations on a variety of commercial projects across the Colorado Springs market and surrounding areas. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations across multiple concurrent projects — coordinating subcontractors, enforcing quality and safety standards, maintaining schedules, and mentoring field teams. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a competitive salary range of $105,000–$145,000 and the opportunity to grow within a servant-leader culture that values initiative, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of commercial superintending experience, strong leadership presence, and the ability to self-perform when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations across multiple concurrent commercial projects of varying types and locations simultaneously Read, interpret, and enforce plans and specifications; hold subcontractors accountable to contract scope, schedule, and quality standards Develop, maintain, and update construction schedules; complete Daily Project Logs and proactively identify and resolve schedule risks Self-perform construction tasks as required; demonstrate hands-on capability and lead by example in the field Conduct weekly foreman meetings and jobsite safety meetings; champion a culture of safety by identifying hazards, enforcing safe work practices, and resolving risks before they escalate Order materials, coordinate deliveries, and schedule inspections at appropriate project milestones Develop and execute site utilization and logistics plans for each project Mentor, manage, and develop field team members; provide oversight of time management and performance Build and maintain strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers Drive production tracking and planning; analyze workflows and processes to optimize efficiency and resolve problems Enforce quality control standards throughout all phases of construction Facilitate timely procurement of materials and equipment to support project schedules Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent managing projects from groundbreaking through closeout Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations and project types Proven track record of leading subcontractors to deliver on schedule, within budget, and to specification Proficiency with construction scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) and Windows-based applications Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Integrity, self-motivation, and a drive for continuous personal and professional development Clean driving record and valid driver’s license Ability to self-perform construction tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience on office, medical/healthcare, and K–12 education projects Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforms OSHA 30 certification Experience working as a development partner, construction manager, or design-builder Familiarity with Colorado Springs and Front Range subcontractor market Benefits: Medical, Dental, & • Vision Insurance – 95% employer-covered (50% for dependents) 401(k) with 4% Employer Match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life Insurance & • FAMLI Paid Time Off & • Sick Leave 24/7 Gym Access Company Vehicle & • Gas Card Professional Development & • Career Growth Opportunities
