This position will be responsible for the supervision of recreation and activities attendant staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, cash control accountabilities, and cleanliness of all associated areas, including Recreation, Fitness Center, Pools, and all outdoor amenities. This individual will assist in the training of all new hires and will be accountable for inventory, ordering, and stocking. This position attends to all of the day-to-day operations of organized activities, fitness centers, pools, and outdoor amenities. Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; oversee day-to-day department operations Assist in the development of activity/event promotional communications and ensure proper distribution Decorate for holidays, events, and activities. Facilitate and create arts and crafts. Order, receive, inventory, and stock supplies and merchandise Responsible for cash bank and daily deposits; vendor and guest relations Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age and have one year of driving experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Moderate decision-making is required under limited supervision Excellent customer service skills and experience handling cash are required Previous inventory experience preferred but not necessary Must know how to operate a cash register and an adding machine Must be able to communicate basic resort information to owners and guests Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the training, scheduling, and performance of staff members. Provide information beneficial to guest satisfaction. Ensure the department is properly organized and staffed EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required Two years of experience in a supervisory role Experience in recreation management and/or supervision preferred Previous experience in resort activities, fitness, and/or retail operations is a plus CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CPR/First Aid training preferred Lifeguard Certification preferred Valid driver’s license At Holiday Inn Club Vacations, we believe in strengthening families.
